When & where does the church meet?

The church meets every Sunday at 10:30am.  It helps to get there 10 minutes early to get a parking spot and seat in time for the service to start.   Parking is also available on the streets around Church and at the local shopping area.

Services last for up to an hour and a half. Not all services are the same.

We meet at the church building. The address is:

We also have our 4pm service in Tamil and Malayalam and English which meets on Sundays at 4pm in the church. This congregation has a South Asian flavour to it's worship.

Our Chinese Fellowship meets on Sundays at 10:30am at Cornerstone Community Centre Silverdale with services in Mandarin and English;

Our Burslem Congregation meets at 5.30 p.m. at The Lighthouse, Moorland Road, Burslem, ST61DW
 

What to expect when I visit the church

You can expect a warm welcome, great worship, an impacting preach and a friendly bunch of people gathering to learn more about God.
Also tea, coffee and biscuits after the services and quite often a nice buffet, bbq or hog roast too!

What happens to the children at church?

We have a fantastic programme for the Children at church.
Young people aged between 11-17 meet in Church and then go together with leaders to our community centre for their own Youth Church service. During this time our young people discuss issues which are relevant to them.

At Silverdale Church for babies up to when they are about 2 we have a dedicated area for parents to take your child to if you would like to, where there is a speaker so you can still hear the service. 
From age 2 up to the end of reception class we have 'Little Fish' with lots of age appropriate toys games, Bible stories and crafts.
For ages 5-11 we have 'Big Fish Sundays'.  Fast fun games, action songs, prayer, Bible teaching. 

At the 4pm service the children meet at 3pm and have their sessions before the main service; children are invited to join in the service with their parents.

At our Chinese Fellowship and our Burslem Congregation the children leave partway through the service for their session.
 

Is there a dress code?

No!
Just wear something comfortable! 

Will I be made to feel uncomfortable?

Not at all!

We will be welcoming, and you will not be forced to do anything you are not comfortable doing. We want you to feel right at home and enjoy the service. Do join us for a drink and snacks after the service to get to know some people from the church.
